Dinas Kesehatan Kaltim Prioritaskan Pencegahan Penyakit Melalui Germas

Samarinda, Borneofolks.com – Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Provinsi Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) menjadikan program pencegahan penyakit sebagai prioritas utama.

Kepala Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kaltim, Jaya Mualimin mengungkapkan salah satu program kesehatan yang menjadi prioritas adalah program pencegahan dalam kesehatan masyarakat melalui Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (Germas).

Germas merupakan program pemerintah pusat melalui Kementerian Kesehatan yang menekankan transformasi kesehatan dapat berjalan lewat upaya promosi kesehatan.

“Hal yang kami tekankan ke depan, mengedukasi masyarakat agar hidup sehat, mencegah penyakit, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup,” tutur Jaya.

Menurut Jaya, upaya pencegahan penyakit dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya hidup sehat.

“Dengan upaya-upaya tersebut, masyarakat Kaltim dapat hidup sehat dan terhindar dari penyakit,” pungkasnya.
